My name is Zakiat Jalilvand but you can call me Dr. Zaki and I am an osteopathic physician, board certified in Internal Medicine practicing in Rancho Santa Margarita. I have been practicing as a physician for 8 years. As an osteopathic physician, I believe that good medicine happens when treatment plans are individualized with your goals in mind. This requires a whole person approach, encompassing mind, body and spirit. My role is to help you accomplish your goals, whether it is to prevent disease, stabilize chronic disease, reduce medications or become more active. I have over 15 years of patient care experience, which include care as a nurses aide, a registered nurse, and physician. I've worked in the emergency room, rural health clinics and even hospice. Prior to coming to RSM, I was in Los Angeles and was named a “Top Doc” in Pasadena Magazine in 2016 by colleagues. These experiences give me a unique viewpoint to understand your needs.
