Dr. Ruston graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Bradenton campus, in 2012. She completed a Traditional Rotating Internship in Danville, Virginia in 2013 followed by an additional two years of training with the Family Medicine Residency program at Offutt Air Force Base/University of Nebraska Medical Center. In 2015, she was assigned to the Family Health Clinic at Luke AFB, AZ as an Active Duty Air Force physician, and fell in love with the state of Arizona. After separating from the Air Force in the fall of 2018, She knew she wanted to remain surrounded by the beauty of this southwestern setting. As a General Medicine Practitioner, she is committed to providing the care you and your loved ones deserve. She has determined that the only way for her to do this is by creating her own “micropractice.” When patients call, they speak with her directly and she is more accessible to patients than providers at conventional offices. She is able to immediately determine if patients need an office visit at all and is flexible with her schedule. Her passion is improving health and well-being by combining preventive and holistic medical practices. As a chronic disease sufferer herself, she is personally acquainted with the burden of permanently managing pervasive medical conditions and the struggles of compliance while balancing an active life.
