About Dr. Kandace Kichler

Dr. Kandace Kichler is a board-certified General Surgeon with fellowship training in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery. She is the Medical Director of Bariatric Surgery at the JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Florida. She is also an Associate Professor in Surgery at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Kichler completed her undergraduate education at Auburn University, obtaining a degree in Animal Sciences. She then went on to attend medical school at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. She completed her residency in General Surgery at the University of Miami in Palm Beach at JFK Medical Center. Dr. Kichler completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, Florida. During the training, she developed a particular interest in Surgical & Medical Weight Loss, Nutrition, and Endoscopy. She returned to practice in Palm Beach County and now performs both routine and revisional Bariatric Surgery, General Surgery, and Endoscopy.
