My name is Juan Francisco Topete. I am Hispanic. I'm 41 years old. I'll be 42 in a few months. I started with Digbi January 1st of 2025 and the only reason I remember because it was a new year, some aha moments were specifically like with dairy, like I knew that my body didn't process that very well just from my love of ice cream and it not loving me back. I knew but I didn't really know if it was true or not. It was just me, you know, with getting that those reports back of, okay, yes, this is actual fact. This is why you always felt miserable having dairy or milk. This is why when you ate these foods, you know, you weren't necessarily feeling the best and they just made sense. And so it's changed kind of my, my shopping habits, my eating habits. I have an office job, right? I work sitting down the majority of my day. So it's a very sedentary type job.I know prior, I felt tired a lot, even though I didn't do anything. I don't feel that same tiredness that I felt. The good thing is I do sleep better.

I can definitely tell the difference in my gut health. Like there's no constipation issues, no diarrhea, everything is just natural. So one thing that I did notice is when I like more protein based foods like chicken or steak, my levels were more consistent. You didn't see that high sharp rise in the sharp decline with my blood sugars. It's a lot easier on my body when you don't have those high peaks and those low dips. The tests were definitely easy to do. Instructions were very simple. I did get some insight, especially on my gut. I was definitely missing certain bacteria that helps me stay regular. So definitely through diet, I even started taking some supplements and I was definitely able to tell a difference just in my regularity

And then on my genetics, for sure, there was a lot of foods that I love and I eat regularly that I was able to make the connection that, yes, this is why I felt tired or this is why I felt miserable after eating these foods. And I was low on vitamin D. So we came up with a plan with my provider to make sure I can get those numbers up. But because of that, the results that I got, it prompted me to go to my provider and get that blood work done and checked. I have made dietary changes. I'm not perfect, so I still eat some of the foods that I probably shouldn't. But overall, I have made changes. But now instead of buying tilapia, I buy cod because it's one of the fish that my body can process better and I can tell the difference when I eat one compared to the other. As well as I've started buying coconut milk instead of cow milk. So definitely thank you. I'm sure they had more questions for me than most people. And thank you for being available.

Thank you for answering my questions. Definitely I recommended it to my wife. And again, we just got her results two days ago. We haven't processed them or gone through them together. She's kind of skipped and seen some of the results. So I would probably recommend more the webinars more than even the videos, just because you get immediate answers right there. Like they'll respond to you right that moment. The videos are great. I use the videos to see how to put my CGM in and then just understanding of the program. I think at first the only issue I had was remembering myself to take the picture of the food. I was like, okay, great. I got to remember to do this. But once you made it a habit, once I made it a habit, super easy. You get you get your quick response off, you know, how good your meal was or on the point system, you know, where where you kind of stand. So yeah, so I would definitely tell my employer, thank you, my HR team, my benefits team, thank you. It's been a great benefit. That to me just shares how much the company I work for cares about me and my family.

Just thank you. You know, it's been a very neat program. Helped me understand my body better. Helped me make better decisions when I'm shopping, when I'm consuming. My work life is probably the same. The main difference I've noticed is how I feel. So because I am consuming foods that my body can process better, I don't feel as fatigued. I am sleeping better. So just that one aspect has made a huge difference for me. I'm excited to see what my wife's journey is going to look like in the program. And also my soon to be 21 year old, you know, when she gets started and just kind of see her journey as well. Having that knowledge to make better decisions when you do eat out. I mean, I still eat out, but I make better decisions when I do, based off what I know my body can process better and not.
